Following his first ever sub-10 clocking at the LSU Alumni Gold, Godson Brume earned his second win on the trot in the men’s 100m at the LSU Invitational in Baton Rouge, clocking a time of 10.01s (3.3) in wet conditions. He led a 1-2 finish for LSU with his teammate Da’Marcus Fleming coming 2nd in 10.06s while World Bronze medallist at the 200m, Erriyon Knighton ran 10.13s for 3rd.

Brume also anchored the LSU men’s 4x100m team to a Season’s Best (SB) and NCAA Lead of 38.26s, the second fastest time in school history!

After a short hiatus coming off the indoor season that saw her set multiple records, Favour Ofili finally kicked off her outdoor season with her individual opener over 100m at the LSU Invitational in Baton Rouge.

She clocked a time of 11.28s (1.9) to take 5th place, while Aleia Hobbs picked up the win with a 11.04s clocking and also ran 43.56s as a member of the LSU women’s 4x100m team that finished
