PORT-HARCOURT

The Port-Harcourt location for MoC Track Club launched in March 2017, thanks to the sponsorship for Eroton Exploration & Production, an Oil & Gas company that keyed into our vision to send our Athletes to University at home, while training them to represent Nigeria at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Thanks to Eroton’s sponsorship, Making of Champions has been able to set up Port-Harcourt as our 3rd Track Club location after Lagos & Enugu, by providing accommodation for the MoC Media & Management team in Port-Harcourt, and the means for Olympic Medallist Uchenna Emedolu to commute between Enugu & Port-Harcourt to serve as our Head Coach in both locations.

MoC Track Club in PH has 3 Athletes enrolled at the University of Port-Harcourt (Uniport), studying various degrees from Chemical Engineering to Business Management – they each won medals for Uniport at the 2017 Nigerian University Games in Makurdi, and could represent Nigeria at the 2017 World University Games in Taipei!

MoC PH also has 2 more Athletes currently seeking admission to Uniport. Eroton’s support as the Official Sponsor of MoC Track Club in PH also covers the training costs and travel to competitions for MoC PH Athletes, as well as the living costs, tuition and exams fees for other Athletes also preparing for admission to Uniport!
