Manchester United have named Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo in their updated squad list for the knockout rounds of the Europa League and the mini knockout tournament holding in Germany.

Prior to the Europa League going on break, Ighalo had featured in all of Manchester United matches since joining the English side from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, scoring twice and providing one assist.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Golden Boot winner will have to jostle it out with the quartet of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Antony Martial, and Tahith Chong for a place in the starting 11.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made two replacements to his squad with the injured duo of Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe making way for Teden Mengi and Ethan Laird.

Manchester United will play against Austrian side LASK in the return leg of their Round of 16 tie, with the English club taking a 5-0 advantage from the first leg tie.
