Enoch Adegoke training alongside some other athletes at the 2nd MoC Grand Prix in 2019

More than 700 athletes have reconfirmed their registration for the 3rd MoC Grand Prix taking place next week at the Sports Complex of the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.

This will be the biggest since the first edition of the MoC Grand Prix was held in 2018, and this number comprises athletes both in Nigeria, alongside some African countries who would also be adding more glamour to the event.

Please do note that the collection of bibs will commence tomorrow at the Teslim Balogun stadium from 12pm and elapse on Monday. Also, do watch out for the Start Lists of each event, which will be released this weekend.

Athletics coverage was a discovery, having to move away from regularly writing about Football. Although it was initially daunting, but now being an authority in it makes the past effort worthwhile. From travelling on the same international flight with Nigerian athletes, to knowing you could easily interview: World Record holder Tobi Amusan, then Ese Brume, I have cut my teeth in this beat earning the trust of Athletics sources.
