The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Golden League initially slated to hold at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium has now been moved back to the University of Port Harcourt Sports Complex, the initial venue of the competition.

The change in venue of the event taking place on Saturday and Sunday, January 27th and 28th, has been confirmed by the AFN Technical Director Sunday Adeleye. The event was previously postponed by a day.

Considering that tomorrow is the last Saturday in January, athletes competing in the morning session are advised to arrive at UNIPORT before 7am to avoid being stuck due to the monthly environmental sanitation being observed in Rivers State.
