The official events schedule for the MTN CHAMPS Uyo Grand Final has been released. Over 2000 Athletes are set to compete at the event slated for May 6–9, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Akwa Ibom State.
This marks the third and concluding leg of MTN CHAMPS Season 3, wrapping up Nigeria’s biggest grassroots Athletics competition for the year. Find the schedule attached below.
Official Events Schedule for MTN CHAMPS Uyo Grand Final
All Registered Schools/Athletes must pick up their competition bibs to confirm their participation no later than Monday, May 5th, at the Competition venue to remain on their event startlists.
An Athletes’ screening will take place at bib collection on Monday, May 5th. All Cadet and Youth athletes must present themselves for screening as their bibs are being collected to remain on the startlists for their events. All athletes in the Cadet and Youth categories must bring a photocopy of valid identification that clearly shows their date of birth. Accepted documents include:
Birth Certificate
International Passport
Official School Records
In addition, a signed Parental Consent Form is mandatory for athletes in the Cadet, Youth, and Junior categories. This form must be signed by at least one parent or legal guardian and can be downloaded at http://mtnchamps.com. Athletes should bring the completed form with them for bib collection.
