Chioma Nwachukwu delivered a standout performance at the Big 10 Indoor Championships over the weekend, racing to a Bronze medal with a time of 52.44s over 400m, winning her heat ahead of Charlee Crawford (52.49s) but finishing 3rd overall. Savanah Sutherland (Michigan) won GOLD in 51.74s, while Yemi John (USC) took Silver with 51.76s.

Since making her collegiate debut, Nwachukwu has improved her Personal Bests (PB) consistently. She stormed to a PB of 52.07s in the semifinals before settling for Bronze in the final.

After missing out on a medal in the 60m final by placing 4th in 7.39s at the C-USA Indoor Championships, Rejoice Sule bounced back to get a podium finish in the women’s 200m final.

She ran a lifetime best of 23.21s to grab the Bronze medal behind teammate Niesha Burger, who completed the sprint double, running a Meet and Facility Record of 22.73s in the process.
