Team Nigeria competed in two events on Day 14 at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics as the duo of Chukwuebuka Enekwechi and the women’s 4x100m donned the green and white in athletics.

The women’s 4x100m first up on the track, when the quartet of Tobi Amusan, Grace Nwokocha, Patience Okon-George and Ese Brume finished 6th in heat 2 , posting a time of 43.25s.

Chukwuebuka Enekwechi  competed in the men’s Shot Put final and he came up short as he could only mange a best throw of 19.74m on his third attempt to finish 12th overall in the standings.

Team Nigeria has picked up two medals so far at the games, with Blessing Oborududu nad Ese Brume notching Silver and Bronze in Wrestling and Long Jump.
