Miracle Thompson won the 100m Hurdles at the Pagan/MoC Relays.

The stage is set for qualification attempts for the Men’s 4x100m and the Mixed 4x400m at the Paga/MoC Relays holding on Sunday, June 27th at the Yaba College of Technology Spors Complex in Lagos.

With the women’s 4x100m and 4x400m teams already qualified for the Tokyo Olympics at the National Trials and Lagos Open Championships respectively, the Ministry of Sports and the Athletcs Federation of Nigeria (AFN) have confirmed that Team Nigeria will be attempting to qualify for the Olympics in the men’s 4x100m and Mixed 4x400m, with Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal the other National Teams involved in the Olympic Relay qualification event.

Here is the final list of registered athletes for the Paga/MoC Relays. Interestingly, the competition is set to hold on the very first day of 2022 World Championships qualification window. As such, any Athlete who runs the Olympic Standard in their individual events at the Paga/MoC Relays will also automatically qualify for the Oregon 2022 World Championships in USA as well as the Tokyo Olympics next month!

Online registration for the Paga/MoC Relays has now closed and any possibility of further entries on the Event day is subject to any last minute additions or changes to the Event Schedule.

Collection of bibs will take place from 1pm-6pm today (Saturday 26th June) at Yabatech Sports Complex, and in the morning on the Event day, on Sunday 27th June.

The Athletes who are only competing in the Relays will not appear on this list, but they must also collect their bibs before the Relay Events take place on Sunday.
