Anthony Joshua remains the heavyweight champion of the world after he defeated Kubrat Pulev by Knock Out (KO) in Round 9, retaining his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles on Saturday night at the SSE ARENA in London.

In the post-bout interview, Joshua expressed his relief at successfully retaining his championship belts and also hinted his readiness for a unification fight against Tyson Fury next.

“I’m up for anything. Who wants to see Anthony Joshua box Tyson Fury in 2021? I started this game in 2013 and I’ve been chasing the belts ever since.

“Whoever has got the belt, I would love to compete with them. If that is Tyson Fury then let it be Tyson Fury.”

The victory brings Joshua’s record to 24 wins in 25 fights.
