Super Eagles forward, Simy Nwankwo was on target for Serie A club Crotone as his 12th-minute penalty helped them earn a 1-1 draw against giants Juventus at the Stadio Ezio Scida

Simy had the first major chance of the game, scuffing his finish wide from the edge of the area, and a bright Crotone start also earned them a penalty for Leonardo Bonucci’s mistimed tackle on Arkadiusz Reca.

Simy duly converted by sending Buffon the wrong way with a stuttering run-up to give the Squali the lead.

Their lead was cut short a few minutes later when Federico Chiesa immediately made an impact on his debut, running on to a Dejan Kulusevski through ball to roll it across for Alvaro Morata’s tap-in from six yards.

Simy’s goal was his second of the season after he opened his account in Crotone’s 4-1 loss to Sassuolo on Match Day three.
