Running at the FBK After Summer Competition in Hengelo, two-time World Champion, Sifan Hassan powered to a big Personal Best (PB), National Record (NR) and European Record (ER) of 29:36.67 to win the women’s 10000m.

She moved up to 4th on the all-time list while finishing ahead of Ethiopia’s Tsehay Gemechu who clocked a Season’s Best (SB) of 30:57.73 as Sarah Chelangat placed 3rd in 31:06.46.

Faith Kipyegon topped the women’s 1000m in 2:32.82, beating Uganda’s Winnie Nanyondo to the finish with 2:40.50 as Eunice Sum finished 3rd in 2:41.37.

In the men’s 5000m, Yomif Kejelcha clocked a time of 13:12.84 over Australia’s Stewart McSweyn who ran 13:16.05 and Matthew Kimeli in 13:24.54.
