National 400m Champion, Emmanuel Ojeli was in action at the Kipchoge Keino Classic, the 7th installation of the 2020 World Athletics Continental Tour Gold in Kenya.

Ojeli who was coming off a seven-month hiatus of not competing, powered to a time of 46.49s for 2nd place in what was his first 400m race of the season.

He finished behind Kenya’s Jared Momanyi who took the win in a time of 46.12s as Ryan William claimed 3rd place in 46.66s.

Athletics is a special shade of life for me, and my confidence has received a boost since I started out covering the sport from the stands of my home, and now as a Junior Sportswriter with Making of Champions - an opportunity to get better at what I do.
