Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of the double friendly matches for Nigeria against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in Austria after suffering a groin injury in the Foxes’ 4-2 victory over Burnley.

The midfielder played the entire match on Sunday evening as he played a key part in his side winning their second consecutive match of the EPL season.

Gernot Rohr is expected to name a replacement for the injured midfield maestro after he was penciled down as one of the five midfielders in the 25-man squad.
