Ivory Coast International forward Wilfried Zaha was once again in phenomenal form for Crystal Palace as his double steered them to victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The London Club inflicted misery on United after a deserved 3-1 win with Zaha doubling his side’s lead in the second half after retaking an initially missed Jordan Ayew penalty.

Andrew Townsend had earlier given the visitors a surprise lead after just seven minutes as United started slowly.

Zaha then secured the win through his second strike of the game after a powerful near-post strike that David De Gea couldn’t keep out.

His performance saw him become the first player to score twice in a Premier League game against Manchester United having previously appeared for them in the competition.

Elsewhere, Ghanian Winger, Jeffrey Schlupp put up a show as he notched up an assist in the game, taking his tally to four in his last six appearances against the Red Devils, while Eberechi Eze and Jordan Ayew also featured for the Eagles.

Nigerian attacker, Odion Ighalo came into the fray in the 81st minute, hoping to rescue a point for Manchester United, but he fired blanks all through his stay on the field.
