Ryan Crouser was in action on Tuesday at the 70th Hanzekovic Memorial meet in Zagreb, hurling a big 22.74m to win the men’s Shot Put at the competition in Croatia.

The Hanzekovic meet is part of the ongoing World Athletics Continental Tour, and Crouser is making the best use of these competitions as he secured a seventh consecutive win this season.

He surpassed 22m a total of four times through the competition and finished ahead of World Champion Joe Kovacs who opened up to 21.30m, just ahead of Germany’s David Storl who threw a distance of 21.20m to finish 3rd.

Behind the top three were Payton Otterdahl in 4th, throwing 21.06m and Nick Ponzio in 5th with a mark of 21.03m.
