Nigeria attacker Henry Onyekuru came off the bench to help AS Monaco with an assist, as they sailed past Nantes 2-1 in their third league game of the season in League 1 at the  Stade Louis II.

Onyekuru replaced German Midfielder Kevin Volland in the 62nd minute, and three minutes later, he provided the assist for Willem Geubbels to score the match-winning goal for his side.

Sofiane Diop opened the scoring for Monaco as early as the 5th minute before Ludovic Blas restored parity for Nantes an hour into the match.

Moses Simon played the full duration of the game for Nantes as he is yet to get off the mark after three matches for his club.
