Yulimar was a red hot favourite for the World Triple Jump title in Doha.

World Champion, Yulimar Rojas has gone out to a big Season’s Best (SB) and World Lead (WL) mark of 14.71m (+0.7m/s) in the women’s Triple Jump at a competition in Castello (Spain).

The Venezuelan who opened up a month ago to a win, jumping 14.27m at the Monaco Diamond League, recorded jumps of 14.42m (+0.3) and 14.47m (+0.3) before the WL mark came in the last round.

Also competing at the Finnkampen in Tampere, Daniel Stahl threw a huge 69.20m in the men’s Discus Throw, earning his 14th win of the season ahead of his very consistent compatriot and rival, Simon Pettersson who reached 63.79m.

Aaron Kangas hurled 76.74m in the men’s Hammer Throw, beating Henri Liipola who reached 73.42m as Aleksi Jaakkola claimed 3rd with 73.25m.
