Ex-Nigerian goalkeeper, Ndubuisi Egbo became the first Nigerian Football coach to win in the UEFA Champions League as he steered KF Tirana to a 2-0 victory against Dinamo Tbilisi of Georgia in the first qualifying round of the European competition on Wednesday.

Goals from defender Marsel Ismajlgeci and Argentine forward Agustin Torassa was just about enough to book is teams place into the second round of the qualifying round. They are now two wins

Egbo will now be looking to become the first Nigerian to coach a team in the Uefa Champions’ League group stage if his team win their next two matches in the qualifies.

Egbo, a former Nigeria international who played at two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, became the first person from the West African country to win a European title after KF Tirana’s success in the Kategoria Superiore last season.
