A goal each from Nigeria’s Sylvester Igboun (Sly) and Cameroon’s Clinton Njie were enough for Russian Club Dynamo Moscow to claim victory over Ural in their first game of the 2020-21 season.

Njie was the first to get on the scoresheet as he poked home the ball from close range in the 38th minute to give Dynamo the lead, scoring his first goal since October 2019.

Igboun, who recently joined Dynamo Moscow on a permanent deal from rivals Ufa this month, sealed the triumph with his header just before the hour-mark.

The Nigerian forward was later substituted in the 76th minute by Vladislav Karapuzov while Njie made way for Sergey Slepov’s introduction in the 89th minute.

The win means Dynamo Moscow move to third in the Russian Premier League table, as they are levelled on three points with leaders Krasnodar and second-placed CSKA Moscow after just a game.
