Russian Premier League club Dynamo Moscow have confirmed the signing of Sylvester Igboun from rivals FC Ufa on a permanent deal.

Before joining Dynamo Moscow on a season-long loan last year, the striker had been at Neftyanik Stadium since 2015, after joining the side from Danish club Midtjylland.

Igboun, who boasts of six caps with the Super Eagles, plundered two goals in twenty appearances while on loan last season.

“I want to say thank you to Dynamo for their faith in me and the opportunity to continue my career in the blue and white squad. The FC Ebedei product told the club website

“The first year turned out to be difficult, we were either at the bottom of the table or close to the very top of it.

“We did what we could in such a situation and took the place that brings Dynamo back to the European competition. That’s cool!”

The Nigeria international will hope to add to his goals tally when the Russian Premier League starts on the 8th of August.

There are very few things in life that make me happy, but talking and writing Sports has to be at the top. I honed my broadcasting skills at the University of Lagos Radio Station and have free-lanced for platforms like Top Radio and Superscreen TV amongst others.
