The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has released the entry standards for the 2017 World Athletics Championships which is set to take place in London from 4th to 13th August, 2017.

According to the IAAF, athletes are expected to meet the qualifying mark in their various events within the stipulated period of 1st October 2016 to 23rd July, 2017, for a chance to compete at the biggest global athletics competition in 2017.

london-2017-esIn the same vein, the entry standards for the IAAF World Youth (U-18) Championships slated to hold in Nairobi, Kenya have also been announced. The best teenage talent from around the world are expected to meet the marks from 1st October 2016 to 3rd July, 2017.

The competition, which is the last edition to be hosted by the world Athletics governing body, will be staged between 12th to 16th July, 2017.
