Ezekiel Nathaniel won heat 5 of the men’s 400m hurdles at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships, clocking 48.37s to reach the semifinals. He ran a very controlled race, beating Caleb Dean (48.67s) from the USA and Brazil’s Francisco Dos Reis Viana (48.69s), who set a Personal Best (PB)

His time of 48.37s placed him 10th overall in the heats. He is now set for the semifinal in two days where he will face USA`s Caleb Dean again, Jamaica`s Malik James-King, and Brazil’s Matheus Lima.
