Team Edo broke the Festival Record in the mixed 4x100m as Blessing Ogundinran anchored the squad to a new benchmark of 42.44, and delivering a third GOLD to their second-leg runner, Enoch Adegoke.

It was the same squad that delivered a fine performance for them the previous day, and interestingly, they were the only team to deviate from the woman-man-woman-man format, seeking to create a sizeable lead with their second and third leg runners which Adegoke and Alaba Akintola ran.

Lagos state seemed the favourite on Paper with the three of their four runners (Emmanuel Ojeli, Jerry Jakpa, and Joy Udo-Gabriel) all individual medallists in the sprints.

However, their albatross came on the first exchange which Jakpa and Udo-Gabriel seem to put them a tad back. Balikis Yakubu ran a smooth 3rd leg for them before Ojeli closed up some meters for them to anchor them to Silver.

The Lagos State team won Silver

Delta State, who had a bit of confusion with lane tags right at the start, switched Usheoritse Itseki to the anchor leg, as they took Bronze.
