Oghenekaro Etebo made his competitive debut for Turkish club Galatasaray and Morocco international Younes Belhanda found the back of the net to help them to a 2-0 victory over Basaksehir.

Belhanda, alongside DR Congo’s Christian Luyindama, were on parade from start to finish for the visitors while Algeria’s Sofiane Feghouli made way for Etebo to make his debut in the Turkish Super Lig.

Etebo, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Stoke City played the final 20 minutes of the match.

Senegal duo of Mbaye Diagne and Demba Ba also featured in the match for Istanbul Basaksehir with the latter playing the entire duration of the game.

A goal in each half of the encounter secured the second league win of the season for Galatasaray after their 3-1 triumph over Gaziantep FK last Saturday.
