Ivorian attacker Wilfried Zaha was on target for London Club Crystal Palace this weekend as his goal helped them to a 1-0 victory against Southampton.

Zaha wasted no time in scoring his first goal of the season with the only of the game coming inside 15 minutes of the new campaign.

Zaha has scored on the opening weekend of the Premier League for a third season, 2015-16 vs. Norwich, 2018-19 vs. Fulham, and now vs. Southampton.

The former Manchester United attacker has now been involved in 60 Premier League goals for the Eagles.

New-signing Eberechi Eze made his competitive debut for Crystal Palace and brought a late surge from Palace, with Zaha seeing a second goal chalked off for offside – before a spell of pressure in injury time with the new man at its heart.

Also, Ghanian winger Jeffrey Schlupp played the entire duration of the game for Palace as he got booked in the 41st minute.
