Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his fine form for Arsenal as his brace helped the North London club to a 2-1 victory against Chelsea to win a 14th FA Cup title.

With Arsenal needing to earn a victory to secure a spot in the Europa League next season, Aubameyang who became the first African player to start an FA Cup final match as captain for a Football League side, put his side on parity with a goal from the penalty spot on the 28th minute after Christian Pulisic had put Chelsea ahead.

The 2015 African player of the year rose to the occasion once again in the 68th minute to put the Gunners ahead with a sublime finish past Chelsea goalie, Willy Cabellero.

Meanwhile, Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe, played the full duration of the game, with Nigerian born English youngster, Bukayo Saka, named on the bench for Arsenal.
