Very rarely do we find a player record a perfect score in the fantasy race contest, but that’s what Team Pacesetters manged to do in the Monaco leg of the MoC 2019 League, thereby claiming an overwhelming win at the Principality.

The team, owned by Making of Champions Senior Writer Yemi Olus hasn’t been a consistent figure in our Top three this season, however she always has a way of pulling the “Rabbit out of the hat” anytime she gets in her groove.

After placing second in Rabat, the player selected nine athletes, with all winning their respecting events, but the wild card on the day for her was picking Dutch runner Sifan Hassan- who produced a stunning performance to set a World Record (WR) and Meeting Record (MR) in the women’s mile, as her captain.

In the end, she raked in a total of 270 points to claim her first victory in our league this season, while also moving up to ninth in the overall standings heading into the London Diamond League.

The spot for 2nd,3rd and 4th was keenly contested but like we’ve done in previous meets, we used the countback rule to decide the winners. As such, Blaise’s Team placed 2nd after placing 5th in Lausanne, while Abraham Ibironke’s Team nicked 3rd position with Nnaji Micah’s Team taking 4th.
