Nigerian athletes home and abroad have been invited to compete at the 2019 All-Nigeria Athletics Championships billed to hold from July 25th to 27th, at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, in a bid to select teams that will represent the country at the African Games slated for August in Morocco, and the IAAF World Championships coming up in Doha, Qatar, in September.

According to the release made by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), foreign-based athletes who hit the qualifying standards for the World Championships at the All-Nigeria Championships, will receive ticket refunds.

States, Clubs and Institutions have also been mandated to ensure that their affiliation fees are up to date for their athletes to be allowed to compete in Kaduna.

Meanwhile, 47 athletes selected from the African Games Trials held in Abuja a fortnight ago, have been asked to converge in Kaduna for the commencement of a camping exercise in preparation for the forthcoming international engagements.
