The MoC Closed Trials are back! Are you a student and an aspiring athlete looking for the opportunity of a lifetime to further your Athletics career in Nigeria while pursuing your secondary & university education? Are you looking a Team that can help you go further than you could have ever imagined in the world of Athletics?

For the 2nd year running, as Making of Champions (MoC), Nigeria’s leading Sports Media & Management Company, will be holding ‘Closed Trials’ in September and October to unearth Nigeria’s next generation of Top Sprinters whom we can train at MoC Track Club to hopefully represent Nigeria at the 2020 Olympics and beyond!

As MoC continues to be inundated with daily messages from aspiring athletes all over Nigeria, hoping for an opportunity to be part of MoC Track Club, we are inviting Athletes of all ages (teenagers and above) to register for the MoC Closed Trials at 4 locations – Port-Harcourt (PH), Ughelli & Enugu in September & Lagos in October!

Olympic Medallist Deji Aliu leading 2017 MoC Closed Trials in Lagos!

The age groups that we have classified for the Closed Trials are as follows: Youth (ages 13-16), Juniors (17 & 18) and Seniors (19 and over) – please do note that our focus is on the future, hence we are primarily looking for Youth Athletes who are still in Secondary School. However, we will also consider Junior & Senior Athletes with very high potential to compete with their peers at National and International level!

Last year, we held Trials in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja and Kaduna, from which 3 Athletes were successfully recruited to MoC, but we could not get to PH & Enugu at the time – now it will be a chance for young budding Athletes in the South and East to show us that they have what it takes to be part of MoC Track Club. What’s more, there will be the possibility of joining MoC in one of three locations – Lagos, PH or Enugu!

Please do note that, unlike MoC Competitions such as Top Sprinter & The MoC Grand Prix over the last 3 years, these Closed Trials are NOT Competitions. Our Closed Trials will be an opportunity to train with our Olympic Medallist Coaches as they assess your potential to become an Athlete at MoC Track Club!

Please do note that ALL our Closed Trials will be INVITATION ONLY. We have a limited number of spaces at each Closed Trial, therefore please do note that we may not be able to invite every single Athlete who applies. As such, please do make sure you fill the form carefully, and you may add any Optional information at the end that you feel may support your application.

We will respond to your application within 1 week IF you are selected for a Trial, and we will give you at least 3 day’s notice to attend the Trial. Given that most of our Trials will take place before the end of September, prospective participants are advised to apply as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment!
