With seven race contests taken place in the “MoC 2018 League” so far, the Paris Diamond Race contest has arguably been the most competitive amongst all, as twenty players surpassed the 200 points mark for the first time this season.

Despite the fierce contest, it was the team owned by St Atuye who led the pack, churning in a massive 225 points to clinch the win for the first time this season.

The high number of points raked in by players was however due to the large amount of Meeting Records (MR) and Diamond League Records (DLR) set by the athletes who competed at the Paris Diamond League, with Abderrahman Samba, Sandra Perkovic and Caster Semenya leading the way with their great performances.

Also, athletes such as Mariya Lasitskene and Salwa Eid Naser were winners in their respective events, with Lasitskene going further to set a new DLR. All these athletes were selected by our eventual winner, as he made Samba his captain for the day.

Abraham Ibironke’s team was the placed 2nd, as he accumulated 220 points.

Very little was left to separate the third position on the standings, as the 3rd to 9th teams all finished with 217 points. In the end, it was Team Tobi Amusan who was given the nod for 3rd place, as he our highest ranked player in the overall standings.

Finally, it would interest you to know that 225 points was the highest by any player in the world rankings, as team Royal Nuts still retains his spot at the top of our rankings regardless of him doing poorly in Paris.
