In a Diamond League Contest which produced a sizable amount of Meeting Records (MR) and lots of upsets, it was Kevin Bliss’s Team who shrugged off competition from the rest of the contenders to win the Fantasy Race Contest in Stockholm.

The Race Contest which is the 6th in the Diamond League, was a very close one with just five points separating the Top 3.

Abderrahman Samba was the main constant amongst all three players teams, as the Qatari Hurdler set a new Diamond League Record (DLR), World Lead (WL) and MR of 47.41s in the men’s 400m Hurdles to give them 60 points after they all selected him as their captain.

Also, all three athletes opted to select US athlete Brianna McNeal, despite the hurdler clipping a hurdle in her last race in Rome. The move yielded dividend as she not only won the race, the Olympic Champion set a new MR and WL to win the women’s 100m Hurdles.

In the end, Kevin Bliss Team finished with 172 points while Peter Ibironke’s team came 2nd with 169 points. Growing Up team garnered 167 points to place 3rd in the standings.

Team Royal Nuts still keeps his top spot in the Overall Standings in the “MoC 2018 League” has he has already reached 1103 points.
