The Delta State Polytechnic Sports Complex in Ozoro will once again host national athletes, with the 4th Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Golden League set to hold on Friday 22nd, and Saturday 23rd, at the same venue where the National U-20 Trials held last week.
According to the Invitation Letter sent by the AFN to State Associations, Clubs, Paramilitary organizations and other stakeholders, athletes are expected to arrive on Thursday, June 21st.
The Golden League events for men are the 100m, 400m, 5000m, 110m Hurdles, 20km Race Walk, Shot put, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump, and Decathlon.
Their female counterparts will compete in the 100m, 400m, 10,000m, 100m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, 20km Race Walk, Shot put, Javelin, Triple Jump and High Jump.
Bonus events are the men and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
