Since last claiming victory at the opening leg of the Diamond Race contest, Team Royal Nuts once again showed that they’ve got what it takes to win, brushing aside all competition to emerge victorious in the Oslo leg of the contest.

Compared to what we saw in Doha and Shanghai, there were very few Meeting Records (MR) in Oslo, with only the duo of Abderrahman Samba and Tom Walsh making sure that they surpassed the feat of previous athletes who competed in their respective disciplines.

As you know, selecting athletes that set MRs not only doubles your points on that athlete, it also gets you a massive 60 points when you pick them as your captain.

Team Royal Nuts was brave enough to select the new rave of the moment, Abderrahman Samba, with the Qatari athlete racing to another MR, clocking a time of 49.60s on his way to winning the men’s 400m Hurdles.

Another rabbit he pulled off from his hat in Oslo was picking both Ryan Crouser and Tom Walsh, as both athletes competed in the Shot Put. Despite Walsh going on to win the event and also setting an MR, Crouser also placed 2nd, thereby gulping a massive 40 points on both athletes.

In total, Team Royal Nuts accumulated 185 points. Gregory Airende’s team placed 2nd with 175 points, while Omologe Akpomiemie’s team garnered 170 points to finish in 3rd place.
