A new date has been fixed by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) for the National Championships which is now slated to take place in Abuja from July 13th-15th, 2017.
In a press release sent out to clubs and participants for the trials, the AFN confirmed that the competition will no longer hold from July 6th-8th , but rather a week later than was initially circulated .
