After setting up centres in Lagos and Enugu, Making of Champions (MoC) has now officially launched another Track Club in Port Harcourt.

With three MoC’s Athletes enrolled at the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport): Eseroghene Oguma who is now in his 2nd year, Ifunanya Muoghalu and ARCO Group-sponsored Jeremiah Jakpa ,who both recently gained admission to the University, the club’s head coach in Enugu, Olympic medallist Uchenna Emedolu has taken up dual roles to coach athletes in these two centres.

Since arriving in Port Harcourt, the expertise Emedolu brings can been seen in the reverence and adulation other Uniport athletes accord him, before and after each training sessions he takes MoC athletes, with the 2004 Olympic medallist being someone you can easily identify on a first time recognition.

Meanwhile, the South-South National University Games (NUGA) preliminaries commences next week. Interestingly, all three MoC athletes made the Uniport team that will be representing the school at the competition.

Hopefully, these athletes will qualify from the preliminaries and compete in NUGA, which comes up in mid April in Abuja.
