Top Sprinter auditions in Lagos

The Lagos FINALS of Top Sprinter Genesis, the exciting new Reality TV Athletics Competition is almost upon us, and things are heating up, as over 250 Athletes from across Nigeria have already registered for the event, scheduled to hold at Teslim Balogun Stadium from Thursday 1st to Saturday 3rd, October!

We would hereby wish to invite all Secondary Schools in Lagos to enter their Athletes for the Schools’ category of the Lagos FINALS, which is Making of Champions’ last competition of 2015!

Please do note Schools should only enter Athletes who are in Senior Secondary School. The minimum age allowable will be 14 years – no athletes under the age of 14 will be allowed to compete in the event.

LAGOS-FLIER-PORTRAITINDIVIDUAL EVENTS:

There will be 6 individual events in the Schools’ category – Boys’ & Girls’ 100m, 200m & 400m.
Each School is invited to register a maximum of 18 Athletes for the individual events  – that is, a maximum of 3 Athletes only for each of the individual races –  Boys’ & Girls’ 100m, 200m  & 400m – which will take place over the first 2 days of the event, Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd of October!

RELAY EVENTS:

There will also be a Schools’ Relay Category on the final day of competition (Saturday Oct 3rd), but with a twist! During the individual events on Thursday & Friday, all the athletes will compete under the watchful eyes of FOUR Olympic Medallists – Deji Aliu, Glory Alozie, Uchenna Emedolu and Francis Obikwelu!

Each of our 4 Olympians will be searching for the best Schools’ Athletes whom they can add to their own Relay Teams for Saturday Oct 3rd, to compete against each other for title of the best Coach of Top Sprinter Genesis! Athletes who get a ticket from one of the four coaches will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to train with the Olympians and their team of the best school athletes assembled from all over Nigeria!

Each School can register a maximum of 24 Athletes for the four relay races – Boys’ & Girls’ 4x100m & 4x400m (6 Athletes per relay) – but here’s the twist: if any of your athletes that run in the individual events on October Thursday 1st or Friday 2nd is recruited into one of the Olympians’ relay teams, then you must bring in a replacement for them in your schools’ relay team for Saturday Oct 3rd!
