It’s going to be another weekend of action packed athletics as the maiden edition of Easter Open Athletics Championships takes off in Lagos State between the 24th and 25th of April, 2015 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

The top three winners in each category will go home with cash prizes of N50,000, N30,000 and N20,000 respectively.

According to the organizers, the Lagos State Athletics Association (LSAA), the competition is in continuation of the efforts of the Lagos State Government towards promoting sports at grass-roots level while preparing athletes for the upcoming World Athletics Championships in August.

Guess What?

Making of Champions (MoC) will be presenting teams in both the Junior and Senior categories. Some of these athletes were drawn from the Top Sprinter auditions held in Lagos, Ibadan and Enugu. The stand-out athletes from the auditions will make up the numbers for ‘Team MoC’ at the competition.

This is the first time MoC is participating in a national competition. Can Team MoC beat the best athletes from around the country? Only time would tell and we can only wish our athletes THE BEST!!!.
