A delighted Amusan after an outing for her school, University of Texas El Paso.

Did you miss Oluwatobiloba Amusan’s record breaking feat on Sunday? Don’t worry, we have clips of the races which were uploaded by her school’s official Twitter page @UTEPTrack .

Here in the first race, Amusan completely destroyed the field as she stormed to victory in the 60m Hurdles.

In her second race, she did not wilt under pressure but still went ahead to win the women’s 200m. You can watch the race below.

The 2017 season no doubt is still in its early stages, but with the scintillating form of Amusan, one can only hope for a big outing from her.

Athletics coverage was a discovery, having to move away from regularly writing about Football. Although it was initially daunting, but now being an authority in it makes the past effort worthwhile. From travelling on the same international flight with Nigerian athletes, to knowing you could easily interview: World Record holder Tobi Amusan, then Ese Brume, I have cut my teeth in this beat earning the trust of Athletics sources. Formerly the Content Manager-Sports at Ringier media Nigeria, Chris is a Senior Sports writer, Photographer & Community manager at Making of Champions.
