Paris was the city that effected so many changes on our league table! Here’s a quick breakdown: Ruth Jebet set a World Record (WR) but only few players chose her as captain, three Meet Record’s (MR) were set, but no player was smart enough to pick them. Then finally and the most interesting fact, we have a new league leader.

On that note, here are the Day 12 Results for our #DiamondRaceContest in the MoC league.

The 2016 Diamond League has been competed in twelve cities, with R Sigma sitting as our league leader in eleven of these. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side in Paris as he was finally knocked off the lead position by none other than Deji Aliu, who interestingly has played second fiddle to him from the beginning, and just waiting for the right time to strike.

Aliu really seems to have an insight on who’s going to set a WR, which led him in choosing Jebet as Team Captain, earning him 90 points thereby accumulating 2024 points in total. R Sigma is just a point behind with 2023 points, while Abdulrahman Afeez maintains his 3rd position from last week with 1980 points.

As said earlier, Aliu chose Jebet as Team Captain; he also had four other winners and two second place finishers while R Sigma, also toed in the same line as Aliu in his choice of players, except in picking Kendra Harrison as Team Captain who won her race but didn’t set an MR.

Abdulrahman Afeez maintained his 3rd position from last week, having the same players as Aliu even in the choice of his captain.

On the World League tables, LuizzCarlos is the new leader with 2106 points, while our league leader Deji Aliu has taken giant steps from 32nd in Lausanne, to now 23rd on the table.
